New Reserve from Alice and the Pirates!!

Hello all!

I'm really excited for AatP's newest reserve!! It's called Empress beloved Dead ~Elisabeth~ and it's named and designed after a musical, named Elizabeth. It's an Viennese musical written in German. It's about Empress Elizabeth of Austria. It is the most successful German-language musical of all time. It is currently at the Takarazuka Revue in  Tokyo and Hyogo, Japan. Now I will admit, I have never seen it, but that doesn't mean I can't love the dress right??

I know I haven't been here as much as I would like, but I have been so busy!! This is the last weekend of the Renaissance Festival, and then Christmas is coming up!! I have a few things I'm planning to make, I just have to find the time to start them!!

New Releases for Winter

As the seasons change, many Lolita brands release new pieces for us to drool over and talk about with our friends over some warm tea or cocoa. Whether these releases are put into Reserves or directly listed in the shops, they're always noticed. For this post, I will be showing new releases and reserves from five major brands: Angelic Pretty, Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, Innocent World, Metamorphose temps de fille, and Victorian Maiden.

Hello everybody! As I state in my description, this blog will mainly be about my sewing endeavors, Lolita and Mori Kei fashions, and events that happen in my life. I plan to post tutorials and reviews when the chance presents itself! I guess I should say a bit about myself...

My name is Kate, I'm 22, and I love to sew. My forté is Historical Costume Design, preferably Elizabethan Fashion. (Wow, that is a mouthful!!) My Maw-maw taught me to sew when I was 4 or 5 years old, and I picked it up again a few years ago. I'm currently in the process of getting ready to start attending the Art Institutes in Houston for Fashion Design. My favorite lolita style is Classic/OTT Classic, and my favorite brands are Innocent World, Victorian Maiden, Mille Fleurs, and Baby, the Stars Shine Bright. I also enjoy Mori Kei, and hope to expand my wardrobe. I love antiques and old-fashioned things.
